Hello, dear readers!
First and foremost, we want to thank you all for reading, following, and contributing to the site and community over the past 3 years. As this crazy decade comes to a close–and our favorite film franchise along with it–we’re looking forward to what comes next.
Starting in 2020, the Star Wars Shadow Council is becoming SWSC, a pop culture and fandom site with the same analytical bent you’ve all come to know and love. We will be expanding beyond the Star Wars universe to write about all manner of storytelling, especially in the sci-fi/fantasy genres. You can expect plenty more analysis, opinion, news, reviews, and humor to come, both about major franchises like Star Wars and about niche, independent works as well.
We’re planning a site makeover early in the coming year (complete with shiny new logo!) and bringing onboard new contributors, new regular features, and more. We look forward to sharing the new SWSC with you all!
