For the most part, the dialog in the adult novelization reflects the movie. There are some places with additional dialog and one particular addition caught my eye.
As a rule, Jason Fry’s novelization generally sticks pretty closely to the dialogue in the movie. There are some exceptions, the scene in the library between Luke and Rey has some additional lines as does the second lesson. However, one difference in particular has caught my attention:
“Rey,” Kylo said, speaking her name like it was poison. “Your chosen one. Chosen over me. She aligned herself with the old way that has to die. No more Masters. I will destroy her, you, and all of it. Know that.” (p. 304)
This dialog comes during the confrontation between Luke and Kylo Ren. Only the bolded line is actually in the movie. Now, Fry may have added the extra lines on his own, however the dialog in the rest of the scene matches the movie exactly and the junior novelization has a lot of the same extra dialog:
“Rey,” Kylo Ren said, snarling at her name. “She made her choice. She aligned herself with the old way that has to die. I will destroy her and you and all of it. Know that.”
So it’s highly likely both instances came from earlier versions of the script. (September 11, 2018 update: I confirmed with Jason Fry it is indeed from an earlier script.) Now, what caught my attention is this part:
Your chosen one. Chosen over me.
In the context of when it’s said, it makes little sense. First, Luke did anything but choose Rey in the movie, instead doing his best to push her away. What’s more, Kylo knows this because he was in contact with her the entire time. Second, Kylo considers Luke an enemy and wants to kill him, why would Luke choose him for anything? The line doesn’t make any sense with the situation or what we know. Therefore, it must refer to information we don’t know.
As we know, Kylo has galaxy sized entitlement issues and heavily resents his family. The ‘Chosen over me.’ line suggests Luke made a choice that Kylo was highly jealous of at the time. Perhaps jealous enough to ‘lose’ both his father’s beloved ship and his five year old cousin…

That line really intrigued me as I was thinking of different scenarios, but this is the one that seems the most reasonable (although I respect other points of view):
Ben Solo still has so much of Kylo Ren in him (despite all Rey’s efforts) that he doesn’t see his own fault and simply tries to rationalize his situation with everyone else’s betrayal.
For me this sequence doesn’t necessarily mean that she is a Skywalker or that they were both padawans in Luke’s temple many years ago (as some people try to suggest), but according to my assumption – and I may be wrong ofc – Ben’s twisted up brain made the conclusion that Rey and Luke are ‘the partners in crime’ which means they allied to ‘destroy’ him. He is probably convinced that Rey left him, came to Luke and set his uncle on him and confronting Kylo Luke simply chose standing on Rey’s side so on the side of ‘all old things that have to die’.
The Resistance, his uncle, Millennium Falcon – everything is a personification his deepest traumas and makes him hit the roof in his fury and anger.
“Speaking her name like it was poison” clearly indicates he feels betrayed and abandoned by the girl he loves (by the way: it shows how much affected he is by Rey’s choice and how much he cares despite all his rage).
“Your chosen one” or “You chose her over me” was Ben’s reaction to Luke’s “I will not be the last Jedi”. This way he probably refers to the situation from the past. Luke ‘betrayed’ him and tried to kill him then rejecting him and giving up on him completely and now Luke puts all his faith in Rey as the future Jedi.
To make it clear – in Ben’s point of view ofc – Luke rejected him as his apprentice in the past and now put all his hope in Rey (his latest ‘apprentice’ so to say). Hence this comparison.

Except Kylo (why are you calling him Ben at this stage in the story?) was in contact with Rey the entire time she was with Luke and knows he did anything but choose her for anything. Not only that, but Ben has fully rejected Luke at this point and is actively trying to kill him. Why would he care Luke chose a girl he supposedly just met for something Kylo rejected years ago? Further, if he is this delusional, we can trust literally nothing he says, including what he supposedly saw in Rey’s mind.

Because he cares about Rey, and as far as he knows, Luke is actually there on Crait. He’s gotten the lightsaber from Rey, and yet, she’s not dead. Which means she betrayed Luke and yet still has the benefit of doubt to still be alive. She also chose the old ways over Ren, and Luke is a great target for that, for filling her head with nonsense that kept her away from him.
None of it is rational thinking, but it is angry, fearful, betrayed thinking that suits an angry, fearful, betrayed villain.
